My mid term exam starts today.

“How was your moral test today?”

“I can answer all the questions correctly mommy…”

“Are you sure, baby?”

“Yes, mommy! It’s true.”

“That’s good. We need to do a revision on Mandarin language tonight, ok?”

“OK, mommy.”

We started the revision on Mandarin at 8pm which ended at 10.15pm. It was so tiring. Frankly speaking, I can’t speak fluent Mandarin and read good Mandarin. My pinyin is totally out. Mom is not good in Mandarin too and sometimes I have to correct her. Most of the time we will seek help from Papa. At times, if Papa was not reachable, mom will have to rely on this website http://www.yellowbridge.com/chinese/chinese-dictionary.php to search for the characters we are unsure of. EeEe was the one who recommended mom the website and mom loves to use it very much. As for the chinese strokes, mom will usually refer to a book that she bought from Popular Bookstore last month after being advised by Chin Xin’s mommy. Chin Xin is my music classmate. I know mom is trying her best to help me beef up my Mandarin. She told me that when I go to Primary One, the teachers and all my friends will converse in Mandarin and if I don’t learn my Mandarin well, I will not be able to understand them and definitely will not do well in my studies.

I guess I just need to try my best.
