Mommy, please stay until my class ends, ok.

Sometimes, my mom would go missing when my music class session ended. Seriously, I didn’t like her to go missing. I hope this time she’ll really wait for me as promised.

When my class ended, I slowly walked down the staircase. I recalled Teacher Ng told me and my other classmates last year, there was once a 7 year old girl who walked down the staircase in a rush. She tripped and fell down the staircase. Ms Ng told us that it was really bad as she hurt her tummy and broke her glasses.

And so I must walk as careful as I can.

There you are, mommy! I spotted my mom sitting on the sofa chatting with Chin Xin’s mommy.

I held my mommy’s hands and as we were ready to go home, I diverted my mom to Ms Ng’s piano instead of the door. I asked mom if I could play the piano.

“But, you have to ask the permission from Ms Ng, darling… my mom said.

Ms Ng was no where to be seen as she could have started the lesson with another group of children.

“Mom, just for one time”… I tried my best to persuade mom.

“OK, darling.”

Mom held my fingers and we played My Grandfather’s Clock song beautifully…

I love My Grandfather’s Clock song very much. I learned how to sing this song from mommy approximately a year ago when Teacher Renu requested me to do a solo performance during our Annual Concert last year. Ms Ng suggested that I should sing this song and play the woodblock simultaneously. I managed to perform 3 songs for my school’s annual concert last year.
