It’s Earth day today and as planned much earlier, we are going to wear clothes in green.
“Mommy, can you help me to inform my teacher that I need to wear my green recycle tee just for today because it’s Earth day? “
“Oh…com’on, say it yourself.”
“Will my teacher scold me if I’m not wearing my uniform today?”
“You can try to explain to your teacher why you are not wearing your school uniform today, ok?”
“Oh, ok. I will ask my friends to recycle, don’t waste food, don’t waste electricity, don’t waste water, don’t cut down the trees….. “
“Mommy, how about your pants? It’s not in green.”
“Err…the colour isn’t so matching, darling dear.”
My dad was at first reluctant to wear green tee too. He said it wouldn’t look appropriate as he prefers office wear during office hour. But, he managed to do his part by putting on the green tee that mom pulled it out from the closet this morning.
“Hurray!”
“I wonder if GranMa and GranPa will also be wearing green too…”
