I have a new Kosa Kata Book 2 today coz my Kosa Kata Book 1 was torn. I don’t know why and I can’t locate it anymore in my school bag. Sigh! Anyway, I was writing half-way when mom reminded me to watch out on my handwriting. Yes, I admit that my handwriting is sloppy and I have been trying my best to improve my handwriting each time I have to hold the pencil and write….

“Mom, sure thing! Let me drink the beautiful handwriting potion now so that my handwriting can be beautiful!”

“Gulp gulp gulp!”

I told mom that fog is formed when the clouds fall from the sky and onto the ground…….

I grinned and then explained to mom that fog is actually the clouds on the ground……..

Mom is still not convinced… oh well!

The weather wasn’t good. Grandma had spoken to her fellow clouds and yet the wind ain’t blowing the clouds away. The clouds were not answering my calls.

I give up!

Grandpa fixed my telescope just for tonight’s occasion and I didn’t get a chance to view the supermoon and the planet Saturn with my telescope.

Sad, just too sad!

Mommy, see.. I’m the home for the food…

Mom was startled when I uttered those words.

Mommy, first I eat the food and then the food will travel from my throat to my stomach and then will be processed. See.. I gave a home to the food….

I did my Mandarin paper this morning. Mom asked me if I have any problem with the paper. I told mom everything was fine except one thing. Teacher Tan told me, I did a mistake on filling up the missing stroke for the character ‘冷’. Mom said it doesn’t matter whether there was one mistake or many mistakes.. as the important thing is I did my best and understand well what I have studied so far.

Mommy, can you do magic?

…..What do you want mommy to do?

Can you make the clouds talk?

…..Hmmm… what do you want to talk about with the clouds?

I want to tell them that I would like to jump on them. I wanna jump from one cloud to another cloud. Can, mom?

Ms Ng stopped 2 music classes in the month of December. And frankly speaking I haven’t been practising since then until today. I could not remember the positions for ‘I hear the mill wheel’ and was not able to play the song to mom at all. So, we decided to ring Ms Ng up to ask her. Luckily I didn’t not get any scolding from her for not remembering the positions as obviously, Ms Ng knew that I haven’t been practising or else it would not just have slipped off my mind.

Ms Ng said any position will do. She reiterated that she was teaching D ‘la’ andI could see in mom’s face that she has no idea what D ‘la’ is. Me too!

Ohh.. I need to practise more!!!

Mom asked what are my wishes for the new year..

I told mom that …

I wished to eat strawberries that cannot cause allergy,

I wished to be able to see a shooting star,

I wished to suck lollipops that are not sticky at all and

I wished for many ‘Ryans’ so that I won’t be lonely.

Since Hao Kor Kor is here today, I told mom that I’m going to drink my milk using my favourite cup.

Mom was a little shock when I said that to her. Yeah.. mom had tried to persuade me to drink my milk in cup since early this year.. but I just couldn’t do it. The smell of the milk made me puke. Eeewww! And also, the ’seeds’ of the milk made me feel so uncomfortable..

However, I decided to do it today.

At 2.30pm, mom was going to prepare my milk and I had reminded her to pour it into my favourite blue cup. I almost puked during my first sip. But, I told mom not to worry, I could do it. So, I held my breath and took the second sip as advised by mom.

I did it! I finished my milk in no time…

Mom congratulated me and was smiling away feeling so very happy!

I even heard mom broke the news to Papa and Granma over the phone!

This morning mom and I went to my school, Little Bell Montessori to collect the Annual Concert DVD. I met Teacher Renu and Madam Ong. Eugene was also there. He was attending the Science Camp, mom said. Eugene asked why was I at school. I told him that I was there to collect the DVD…
