Mommy, can you do magic?

…..What do you want mommy to do?

Can you make the clouds talk?

…..Hmmm… what do you want to talk about with the clouds?

I want to tell them that I would like to jump on them. I wanna jump from one cloud to another cloud. Can, mom?

Ms Ng stopped 2 music classes in the month of December. And frankly speaking I haven’t been practising since then until today. I could not remember the positions for ‘I hear the mill wheel’ and was not able to play the song to mom at all. So, we decided to ring Ms Ng up to ask her. Luckily I didn’t not get any scolding from her for not remembering the positions as obviously, Ms Ng knew that I haven’t been practising or else it would not just have slipped off my mind.

Ms Ng said any position will do. She reiterated that she was teaching D ‘la’ andI could see in mom’s face that she has no idea what D ‘la’ is. Me too!

Ohh.. I need to practise more!!!

Mom asked what are my wishes for the new year..

I told mom that …

I wished to eat strawberries that cannot cause allergy,

I wished to be able to see a shooting star,

I wished to suck lollipops that are not sticky at all and

I wished for many ‘Ryans’ so that I won’t be lonely.

Since Hao Kor Kor is here today, I told mom that I’m going to drink my milk using my favourite cup.

Mom was a little shock when I said that to her. Yeah.. mom had tried to persuade me to drink my milk in cup since early this year.. but I just couldn’t do it. The smell of the milk made me puke. Eeewww! And also, the ’seeds’ of the milk made me feel so uncomfortable..

However, I decided to do it today.

At 2.30pm, mom was going to prepare my milk and I had reminded her to pour it into my favourite blue cup. I almost puked during my first sip. But, I told mom not to worry, I could do it. So, I held my breath and took the second sip as advised by mom.

I did it! I finished my milk in no time…

Mom congratulated me and was smiling away feeling so very happy!

I even heard mom broke the news to Papa and Granma over the phone!

I'm drinking my milk in my favourite cup!

This morning mom and I went to my school, Little Bell Montessori to collect the Annual Concert DVD. I met Teacher Renu and Madam Ong. Eugene was also there. He was attending the Science Camp, mom said. Eugene asked why was I at school. I told him that I was there to collect the DVD…

Mom said we are going to have a surprise visitor tomorrow… Wow.. I just couldn’t wait to know who he or she would be… Is it Ee Ee or Dolly or Chin Hong or Ee Yo?

Anyway, I helped mom to clean up our study room just now coz it was a little bit messy. And mom said it wouldn’t be nice for our surprise visitor to see the mess…

Mom, now I know how babies are formed..

Let me tell you, mom. First, I was from a land of babies. There were babies everywhere. And then I saw a door with mom’s name on it. It spelled MAY. Then I quickly opened the door and jumped inside. I saw many types of flowers in the room. But I have chosen red roses. I went near the roses and suddenly I was in your stomach.  There was no door in your stomach.. but I just happened to be in there… It was so magical, mom…

I am so lucky today to have spotted a rainbow!

We were on our way to Nai Nai’s house in the evening when mom pointed the rainbow to me. As long as I could remember, this is the first time that I saw a rainbow with my own naked eyes. It looked like a broken semi-circle with 2 arches on the opposite sides facing each other.. Amazing! Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and purple!

The day that I have waited finally arrived. My Granpa handed me this wonderful pair of binoculars that I’ve always wanted to have one. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw them. Thank you Granpa!

I can now see the Saturn’s ring!

I am a white cloud and mom is the sun. I stretched my fluff when I woke up this morning and mom stretched her ray to shine the world today. Papa is the moon as I didn’t see him this morning when I woke up. Mom said Papa has gone to the garden to feed his pets - his koi fishes.

When I stretched my fluff, I grow bigger and bigger. When I covered mom, I rain. When I moved behind mom, a rainbow appeared! It was so fun!

Mom’s handphone rang and it was Granma cloud. Time to go for breakfast.
